Overall introduction

Dr. Wang has been engaged in the exploration and application of the causes and mechanisms behind reproductive health and birth defects. Her studies provide novel scientific evidence for the causes and mechanisms of major birth defects, supports population prevention strategies, and have achieved a series of achievements. As a principal investigator, she has funded by more than 10 national projects, including the Major Program of National Social Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation, etc. She has also participated in several international projects funded by the National Institutes of Health in the United States. As the first or corresponding author, she has published more than 70 papers, including Environ Sci Technol, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Sci Total Environ, Chemosphere, Environmental Research, Epidemiology, Clin Epigenetics, Hum Genet, Br J Nutr, etc. She has awarded the Huang Tingfang/Xinhe Young Distinguished Scholar Fellowship, Beijing Science and Technology Award, Science and Technology Award of the Beijing Preventive Medicine, Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, Scientific Research Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Preventive Medicine, etc.
