Mainly engaged in molecular genetic epidemiology, chronic disease epidemiology, and public health education research. Using methods such as association analysis, linkage analysis, interaction analysis, and parent effect analysis, explore the genetic and environmental pathogenic factors of common chronic diseases, birth defects, and other complex diseases. As the project leader, I have undertaken multiple national and northern natural science projects. In recent years, more than 260 SCI papers have been published in Chinese core journals, and the chief editor has participated in the compilation of multiple epidemiological textbooks and monographs. Served as a mentor at the Teacher Development Center of Peking University School of Medicine, undertaking over ten teaching reform projects. The undergraduate course "Fundamentals of Epidemiology" in charge was awarded the National Excellent Online Course in 2018 and the National First Class Undergraduate Online Course Honor in 2020. I have been awarded the title of Outstanding Teacher by Peking University School of Medicine multiple times. In 2012 and 2014, I received the Teaching Excellence Award from Peking University School of Medicine. In 2018, my paper "Evolution of Public Health Education" won the first prize in the "2017 Top 100 Excellent Papers in Medical Education" organized by the Medical Education Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Medical Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Higher Education Association. In 2023, I received the Teaching Excellence Award from Peking University School of Medicine. I has won the third prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, the second prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association Science and Technology Award, the second prize of the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, and the first prize of the Beijing Preventive Medicine Association Science and Technology Award.
