Sep 2005-Jul 2008 Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Public Health School, Peking University

Overall introduction

My main interest is to adopt epidemiology research method such as case-control study, cohort study, to investigate the relationship between adverse exposure during pregnancy and birth outcome of offspring and its mechanism. I have participated in three key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, five projects from National Natural Science Funding in China (NSFC) and two Sino-US international cooperation projects. As the first or corresponding author, I have published a total of 16 papers in authoritative journals, e.g., Environment International, Environmental Pollution, National Medical Journal of China and China CDC Weekly. I undertake part of the teaching work for undergraduate and graduate courses such as "Reproductive and Perinatal Epidemiology", "Field epidemiology" and "Birth defects and their Prevention". I work in the Office for National Maternal and Child Health Statistics of China, Peking University. I serve as editor of Chinese Journal of Reproductive Health and member of Environmental and Social Eugenics Branch, China Eugenics Science Association. I won the Second Prize of Science and Technology of Beijing Preventive Medicine Association.
